28-Year-Old Man Dies after Commercial Truck Rolled Over

TUCSON, AZ (October 06, 2023) – On Tuesday, September 26, officers were dispatched to an incident that killed Devin James Kilcoin.

According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident took place at the intersection of East Los Reales Road and South Alvernon Way.

Furthermore, the officers learned that a garbage truck was driven by a driver and had 28-year-old Kilcoin as his passenger. They were headed northbound on South Alvernon Way when the driver began to drive into the shoulder and rolled over.

Unfortunately, Kilcoin was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics, due to the severity of his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the garbage truck suffered serious injuries, and he was transported to the hospital for treatment. Also, the authorities examined the driver, and he was not determined to be impaired.

No additional information was added by the officials, and the incident is still under investigation.
