Several Hospitalized after Five-Vehicle Accident near Alamon Avenue
MAYWOOD, CA (October 6, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, a multi-vehicle collision on Slauson Avenue left at least seven people injured.
Units from the LAFD responded to the incident shortly before 3:00 p.m. near E. Slauson Avenue and Alamo Avenue in the city of Maywood.
Responding firefighters discovered five vehicles in the wreckage, including several people requiring extrication from two of the cars.
In total, three people were transported to a hospital in serious critical condition. An additional three people sustained minor injuries, and one person suffered moderate injuries in the collision on Slauson Avenue.
