Multi-Car Collision near Tolliver Street Resulted in Fatality

SANTA ANA, CA (October 6, 2023) – Tuesday evening, a three-vehicle accident on South Bristol Street left one person dead and three people hospitalized. 

The fatal collision happened around 7:30 p.m. at the 800 block of South Bristol Street involving two SUVs and a sedan. 

Based on the initial investigation, a sedan made a left turn onto westbound Tolliver Street while going north on Bristol. 

Subsequently, a southbound SUV collided with the sedan, causing the second SUV to hit the leading SUV.

Responding units from the Orange County Fire Authority declared one passenger of the sedan dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the sedan driver to a hospital in critical condition. 

Both passengers from the two SUVs were also hospitalized for treatment of minor injuries. Police said both drivers of the SUV stayed at the site of the crash and cooperated with the investigators.
