Napa Street Pedestrian-Auto Collision Left Kills 41-Year-Old San Bernardino Man
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (October 5, 2023) – Monday morning, a male pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver on Etiwanda Avenue.
Police responded to reports of a downed pedestrian around 7:37 a.m. near the area of Etiwanda Avenue and Napa Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the unconscious victim lying on the dirt shoulder, west of Etiwanda. Authorities declared the 41-year-old man from San Bernardino dead at the scene.
Based on the investigation, a vehicle struck the man walking northbound on Etiwanda from Sixth Street between Sunday evening and the earlier hours of Monday morning.
At this time, the police have not released any information regarding the suspect of the suspect’s vehicle. The identity of the deceased victim will be disclosed to the public once the next of kin has been notified.
