Fiery Two-Vehicle Collision near North Lincoln Avenue Left Two Fatalities
CORONA, CA (October 4, 2023) – Early Monday morning, a wrong-way crash on 91 Freeway claimed the lives of two people.
The fatal collision happened at 12:10 a.m. along westbound SR-91, near the North Lincoln Avenue on-ramp.
Based on the CHP report, a Tesla Model 3 traveling east on the westbound lanes of 91 collided head-on with a Mitsubishi Lancer.
The impact caused the two vehicles to be fully engulfed in flames. Later, the CHP confirmed the two deaths of both motorists from the incident.
At this time, the authorities have not released the identity of the deceased drivers, awaiting notification from their next of kin. Additional updates will be posted as they become available to the public.
