Fatal Crash Claimed the Life of 24-Year-Old Motorcyclist at UTSA Boulevard

SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 3, 2023) –Thursday afternoon, a rider was killed in an auto-motorcycle collision on Interstate 10.

The incident happened around 12:49 p.m. on September 21st, at UTSA Boulevard near Interstate 10.

According to SAPD, the rider was cruising southbound when it hit the red SUV heading out of a parking lot. The man struck the side of the woman’s car because he was unable to stop in time, according to reports.

Unfortunately, the rider succumbed to his injuries on the spot and was pronounced dead by first responders. The identity of the cyclist was not disclosed; however, he is said to be a 24-year-old man.

Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and was not harmed.

Multiple lanes were shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties but they have since been reopened.
