Man Pronounced Dead after Vehicle-Motorcycle Accident on Coleman Street

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 3, 2023) – On Wednesday afternoon, a motorcyclist died following a two-vehicle collision on Craig Road.

The incident occurred on September 20th shortly before 3:00 p.m. near Simmons Street involving a black Honda motorcycle and a silver Dodge Durango driven by a woman.

According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, the rider was traveling at Craig Road at high speeds approaching Coleman Street when he crashed into the Dodge who attempted to cross Craig Road on Coleman Street.

Furthermore, the collision ended up injuring both parties where the rider suffered life-threatening injuries and the female driver obtained minor wounds.

Unfortunately, the rider succumbed to his injuries just moments later and responding paramedics pronounced him deceased. He was identified only as a man in his 20s to 30s.

Consequently, the first responders transported the woman to UMC Hospital for treatment.

She was also assessed by the authorities, and impairment was not suspected.

Moreover, the authorities stated that the speed of the rider was the contributing factor to the incident. Also, the NLVPD Traffic Bureau’s Major Collision Investigation Unit took over the investigation.
