54-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Dump-Truck Collision near Willis Street

KENT, WA (October 3, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, Jeffrey Still was killed in a dump-truck accident on State Route 167.

Authorities responded to the scene around 12:15 p.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway on-ramp near Willis Street on September 6th.

Per reports, Still was driving a northbound dump-truck that was hauling mud when one tire blew out. As a result, Still lost control causing the truck to overturn before coming to rest on its driver’s side.

Medics arrived and pronounced 54-year-old Still dead due to multiple blunt force injuries.

In addition, the cargo mud that spilled caused a road closure. Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more details will be provided.
