52-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near 7th Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 3, 2023) – Friday, Angelica Lucero Perez was fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Venice Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 9:55 p.m., at the intersection of Venice Boulevard and 7th Avenue in the Arlington Heights neighborhood.
Per reports, the driver of a four-door sedan struck a pedestrian who was walking in a northern direction inside a crosswalk.
Upon impact, the driver fled the scene west on Venice Boulevard without rendering aid or contacting authorities.
Despite life-saving efforts, medical personnel pronounced the woman dead at the scene. On Monday, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the deceased victim as 52-year-old Angelica Lucero Perez.
The department’s West Traffic Division is asking those with additional information about the Venice Boulevard hit-and-run to contact their offices as soon as possible.
