One Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Accident on 405 Freeway [Van Nuys, CA]
Multi-Car Collision near Sherman Way Claimed Life of One
VAN NUYS, CA (September 28, 2023) – Thursday morning, a multi-vehicle accident on 405 Freeway killed one and injured several others.
The incident happened on September 27th, just before 7:00 a.m., next to Sherman Way along the 405 Freeway.
According to reports, a number of vehicles collided in the northbound lanes for reasons currently unknown. First responders arrived and pronounced one unidentified person dead at the scene. Additionally, authorities reported three other injuries resulting from the accident.
No other information about the accident has been released to the public at this time.
Additionally, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
