Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 35 near Sunflower Road Claimed One Life
BUDA, TX (September 29, 2023) – On early Friday morning, one person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 35.
The incident happened on September 15th, at around 4:31 a.m. near exit 220, Sunflower Road.
According to the BPD, the interstate was closed off after 4 vehicles collided. The collision included a semi-truck and three passenger automobiles.
As per reports, a driver traveling the wrong way proved to be responsible for the collision.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one dead at the scene. However, authorities have not yet released their identity.
Additionally, authorities closed the road for approximately four hours to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
