One Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision along Grant Avenue
ODESSA, TX (September 29, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, one victim was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Interstate 20.
Authorities responded to the scene around 5:33 p.m., in the 300 block of westbound I-20 near Grant Avenue on September 14th.
For reasons under investigation, a pedestrian was crossing the westbound lanes of traffic when the drivers of two vehicles struck them. Due to the impact of the collision, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 during cleanup and preliminary duties.
