33-Year-Old Redlands Man Arrested after Fatal Collision near South Jones Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 21, 2023) – Early Monday morning, Isaac Aragonez was arrested after a fatal pedestrian crash on West Twain Avenue.
The incident occurred around 1:07 a.m., near South Jones Boulevard.
According to reports, the driver of a westbound 2016 Chevrolet Malibu struck a male pedestrian who was walking outside of a marked crosswalk.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Following preliminary duties, officers determined that 33-year-old Isaac Aragonez, of Redlands was under the influence of alcohol. Authorities booked him into jail, where he faces his second DUI charge.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.
