Four Hospitalized after Auto Collision on College Avenue
EL CAJON, CA (September 21, 2023) – Saturday morning, multiple victims sustained injuries in a 2-car accident on State Route 94.
Police responded to the scene around 9:45 a.m., along the westbound lanes of the freeway near College Avenue.
Per reports, the 33-year-old female driver of a Toyota Camry swerved into another lane and struck a 2013 Dodge Challenger, causing the Toyota to overturn.
Upon impact, two juvenile passengers who were not wearing seat belts, were ejected from the vehicle onto the road. Medical responders rushed the 10-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy to a hospital for treatment of major but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Camry driver and the 43-year-old woman driving the Challenger were also hospitalized with unspecified injuries. At this time, El Cajon Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the 2-car accident on State Route 94.
