74-Year-Old Bicyclist Pronounced Dead after Fatal Crash near North Via Entrada

TUCSON, AZ (September 20, 2023) – Friday morning, a bicycle collision on East River Road claimed the life of Christopher Myers.

The incident took place at the intersection of East River Road and North Via Entrada around 6:00 a.m., on September 8th.

Investigators say the driver of an SUV was heading west and struck Myers while he was riding a bicycle in the area. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 74-year-old Myers dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
