Kassandra Balog Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run on Lacey Boulevard [Hanford, CA]
31-Year-Old Driver Arrested Following 9 ¼ Avenue Pedestrian Crash
HANFORD, CA (September 19, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, Kassandra Balog was left in critical condition following a hit-and-run crash on Lacey Boulevard.
Police responded to the collision around 6:00 a.m. at Lacey Boulevard and 9 ¼ Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered a woman believed to have been hit by a vehicle in the area. Paramedics transported 21-year-old Kassandra Balog to an area hospital where she remained in critical condition.
At around 7:00 a.m., officers were called to the area of Douty Street and Fifth Street after reports of a parked Kioa Soul with a damaged hood and windshield. Police determined that the Kia was part of the pedestrian accident a few hours earlier.
On September 14th, the Honford Police Department managed to arrest 31-year-old Rodney Mosley of Lemoore. Authorities booked Mosley in King’s County Jail for felony hit-and-run resulting in injury or death.
