Pedestrian Collision on Chandler Highway Claimed Life of One 27-Year-Old Man
TYLER, TX (September 19, 2023) – Wednesday evening, David McKeethan Jr., was killed in a pedestrian crash on Highway 31.
The incident happened on September 6th, at around 11:50 p.m., on the 4100 block of Highway 31 and W. Chandler Highway.
According to reports, officers arrived at the location in the 4100 block of Highway 31 W around 11:50 p.m., after multiple reports of a pedestrian collision.
First responders arrived at the scene and found 27-year-old, David McKeethan Jr., unconscious on the road. Paramedics later pronounced him dead due to the extent of his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stayed and cooperated with the police. A large portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
