13-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident near Comstock Middle School

SANTA ROSA, CA (September 15, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, a pedestrian crash on Guerneville Road injured a teenage girl. 

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m., on Guerneville and Marlow roads near Comstock Middle School. 

Per reports, the driver of a white four-door sedan turned right onto Marlow and hit a teenage girl crossing Guerneville. Paramedics arrived and took the 13-year-old girl to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Afterward, the driver exited his vehicle and helped the teenager to the sidewalk before fleeing north. Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported the 13-year-old girl to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. She is expected to eventually make a full recovery. 

Authorities are currently searching for a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s with “scruffy” facial hair. Officers determined that the suspect was wearing a light pink t-shirt and dark-colored jeans at the time of the incident.
