One Pronounced Dead following Pedestrian Accident on Tramway Boulevard [Albuquerque, NM]
Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision near Copper Avenue Left One Person Dead
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (September 15, 2023) – Late Thursday night, a pedestrian died following a pedestrian accident on Tramway Boulevard.
September 14th, at around 7:00 p.m., police responded to the area where a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle.
Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances of the accident. Furthermore, the pedestrian was struck and left with fatal injuries while the driver stayed to cooperate with authorities.
Consequently, a portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, there was no available information about the suspect and the vehicle. It was unknown if speed played a role.
Also, the identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released and an active investigation is still ongoing.
