45-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Accident near Oak Valley Drive

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (September 15, 2023) – Friday, Gregory Goodman was fatally struck in a hit-and-run on Juniper Flats Road.

Authorities located Goodman’s body on September 8th, in a field about half a mile north of Oak Valley Drive.

Officers say the driver of a vehicle struck him and immediately fled the scene without calling for help.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 45-year-old Goodman, of Homeland dead at the scene.

Melissa Gaines, the victim’s sister, said that her brother helped to do the staging in the first two seasons of “The Mandalorian” TV show.  He will be deeply missed by his community.

No further details regarding the Juniper Flats Road hit-and-run crash have been released to the public. At this time, the California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
