Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Peoria Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (September 14, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on 23rd Avenue.

Around 2:45 a.m., police responded to the scene near Peoria Avenue after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck a male pedestrian near the intersection. However, further events leading up to the crash remain unclear.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the man dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
