Multi-Vehicle Pile-Up in Baldwin Hills Resulted in Several Injuries

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 13, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a four-vehicle crash on South Potomac Avenue left at least seven people hospitalized. 

Fire Officials responded to the collision around 4:15 p.m. at the 3600 block of South Potomac Avenue near Obama Boulevard. 

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered four vehicles in the wreckage. One of the vehicles was reported to have flipped over a nearby residence. 

In the end, paramedics treated a total of seven patients at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. 

At this time, the identities of the people involved in the incident remain undisclosed to the public. 

The Los Angeles Police Department is working to determine the circumstances surrounding the four-vehicle crash. Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
