Multi-Car Collision on Disch Road Claimed Life of 21-Year-Old Man
LOCKEFORD, CA (September 13, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 12 left one woman dead.
The incident happened on September 2nd, just before 7:00 p.m., west of Disch Road on State Route 12.
According to reports, a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado crashed with the back of a 2022 Honda after failing to notice the speed of the Honda as it was moving in the direction towards him.
The Honda driver then lost control and veered into the other lane before colliding with a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado coming in the other direction.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after and pronounced the woman dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released by authorities.
Furthermore, six passengers were reportedly injured in the 2022 Chevrolet. A 35-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital in the car. Additionally, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
