Two Women Pronounced Dead after Single-Vehicle Crash on Cowan Road
BELL COUNTY, TX (September 13, 2023) – Monday morning, Hannah Elizabeth Brown and Megan Ja Nell Fink-Maxwell died in a crash on Cowan Road.
Police responded to the scene just before 2:00 a.m., on the westbound lanes of Cowan Road on September 4th.
Per reports, the driver of a white Dodge pickup-truck was speeding and lost control while approaching a bend in the road. The Dodge then came to a rest on its side.
As a result, 20-year-old Brown and 26-year-old Fink-Maxwell who were hanging out of the window, suffered died at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics took the two other occupants to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Following preliminary duties, police found open and closed alcohol containers inside the vehicle.
Following the crash, authorities conducted a blood search warrant at Scott & White Hospital, and the blood and medical reports are still pending. Once available, further details will be provided.
