28-Year-Old Man Arrested after Fatal Collision near Riverside Drive
PARKER, AZ (September 12, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, Karan Singh was arrested after a fatal red-light crash on California Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m., near Riverside Drive on September 3rd.
Investigators say Singh slammed into three stopped vehicles that were waiting at a red light. Upon impact, two vehicles became engulfed in flames while the other overturned.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one man dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported two others to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
In addition, police say Singh fled the scene and went to Ruperto’s Mexican restaurant. Officers then located and took him into custody. Officers transported Singh to La Paz County Jail for second-degree murder and eight counts of aggravated assault.
