64-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision near Avenue 31
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 7, 2023) – Monday morning, Benjamin Howard Guy was injured in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Griffin Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 5:15 a.m., near Avenue 31 on August 14th.
Following preliminary investigations, officers determined that the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian and immediately fled the scene.
Crews arrived and located 64-year-old Guy, unresponsive with serious injuries. Paramedics transported him to Los Angeles General Medical Center and listed him in critical condition.
After investigations, officers believe the suspect vehicle is beige colored. However, further details remain unclear.
At this time, the Los Angeles Police Department is still looking for the suspect. Authorities are encouraging those with further information to contact their offices as soon as possible.
Officers are offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who can help move the case.
