71-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Mile Marker 877
ORANGE COUNTY, TX (September 5, 2023) – Wednesday morning, Howard Lewis Allen was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 10.
The incident happened around 4:40 a.m., on the eastbound lanes of the freeway near mile marker 877 on August 30th.
Per reports, the driver of an eastbound 2018 Toyota Rav4 struck a pedestrian who was crossing the highway.
Shortly after, the driver of an 18-wheeler semi-truck also struck the pedestrian. Medics arrived and pronounced the man, 71-year-old Allen, of Orange dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver, 53-year-old Luis Hernandez and his three passengers remained unharmed.
