Pedestrian Collision on Wanda Avenue Kills 49-Year-Old Man
SEASIDE, CA (September 1, 2023) – Wednesday morning, Sinfariano Martinez-Garcia was killed in a pedestrian crash on Noche Buena Street.
The fatal collision happened around 7:46 a.m., at Noche Buena Street and Wanda Avenue, near Mal’s Market.
According to the police, the male pedestrian was hit by a Ford pickup truck attempting to turn onto Wanda Avenue. Reports stated that the man was trying to cross the street with his wife to get to a bus stop at the time of the crash.
First responders declared the man dead at the scene. Officials later identified the deceased victim as 49-year-old Sinfariano Martinez-Garcia.
In addition, police also arrested and charged the pickup driver for misdemeanor and vehicular manslaughter.
