29-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Rutland Avenue

RIVERSIDE, CA (September 1, 2023) – Tuesday evening, one rider was fatally struck in a motorcycle accident on Arlington Avenue.

Around 7:50 p.m., police responded to the scene near Rutland Avenue.

Based on the initial investigation, the rider of a westbound motorcycle collided with a district attorney’s investigator vehicle on Arlington Avenue. 

Police said the vehicle was turning left onto a driveway when the crash happened. Following preliminary duties. investigators say the motorcyclist’s speed contributed to the incident. 

Responding emergency personnel declared the 29-year-old rider dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the district attorney’s investigator did not sustain any injuries.
