8-Year-Old Girl and Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Buhach Road
ATWATER, CA (September 1, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, Joshua Hitto and a young girl were killed in a 2-car crash on Green Sands Avenue.
The incident occurred around 12:10 a.m., near North Buhach Road.
At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, officers located a silver Toyota Corolla and a white Acura sedan in the wreckage.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 26-year-old Hitto, of Stockton and an 8-year-old girl dead at the scene. In addition, multiple other occupants suffered from various injuries.
At this time, further circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear. Police are still working to determine whether alcohol or drugs were a factor.
