Three Individuals Hospitalized after High-Speed Collision near Union Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 31, 2023) – Wednesday night, three were injured following a stolen vehicle pursuit on California Avenue.

At around 8:11 p.m., two California Police Officers were pursuing a stolen vehicle near the 2100 block of Bradley Avenue.

The police eventually ended up pulling back from ground pursuit and continued pursuing the suspect by helicopter. Later police responded to a collision where the suspect crashed into another vehicle near California Avenue and Union Avenue. The crash ended up injuring three people.

Emergency crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after and provided first-aid to the victims before transporting them to the hospital.
