Motorcycle Crash near Blue Oak Drive Intersection Left Man Dead
ORANGEVALE, CA (August 29, 2023) – Late Saturday morning, a rider was killed in a motorcycle-SUV collision on Madison Avenue.
The fatal crash happened around 11:17 a.m. at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Blue Oak Drive.
According to reports, a GMC Yukon stopped in the northbound lanes of Blue Oak before making a left onto Madison Avenue. There, the GMC was struck in the middle of the intersection by a motorcyclist traveling eastbound at an “extremely high rate of speed”.
The impact of the crash ejected the male rider from his motorcycle, leaving him with serious injuries.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after and pronounced the rider dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the woman driving the GMC and her two juvenile passengers remained uninjured.
It is currently unknown whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the fatal Madison Avenue motorcycle-SUV collision.
