Vehicle Collision near Yerba Buena Road Left One Dead
SAN JOSE, CA (August 10, 2023) – Late Friday night, one person was pronounced dead following a crash on Route 101.
According to the San Jose officials, a white Hyundai Genesis was stopped at the left side near Yerba Buena Road at around 11:30 p.m., August 4th.
Consequently, the officials arrived at the scene and they found one person dead in the area. The identity of the deceased was not yet released at this time.
Officials have also not released any information about a possible suspect vehicle at this time. Additional details will be updated as it becomes available to the public.
Furthermore, the CHP blocked the southbound lanes of U.S. 101 to Yerba Buena Road off-ramp, and the estimated time to reopen was not stated.
At this time, it was unknown how the person died. Further investigation is still being conducted.
