Bicycle-Auto Collision near Graham Street Resulted in Fatality

MORENO VALLEY, CA (August 10, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, a bicycle accident on Alessandro Boulevard took the life of one person. 

The sheriff’s station received reports of the incident on August 8th, at about 5:21 a.m., at Alessandro Boulevard, east of Graham Street. 

According to reports, a black Kia Optima collided with a bicyclist, leaving the bicyclist with major injuries. 

Responding CalFire paramedics transported the male bicyclist to Riverside University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. However, the identity of the deceased bicyclist remains undisclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin.

Meanwhile, the Kia driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. At this time, the Moreno Valley Traffic Reconstruction Team is leading the investigation.
