Driver Wanted after Fatal Pedestrian Crash near Glenoaks Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 4, 2023) – Late Tuesday night, a hit-and-run crash on Paxton Street claimed the life of one man.
The fatal incident happened around 11:20 p.m. along eastbound Paxton Street near Glenoaks Boulevard in Pacoima.
Based on the initial investigation, a dark-colored sedan traveling east on Paxton hit the man for unknown reasons. Footage from the scene revealed that the driver did not pull over and continued driving in the same direction.
Eventually, the LAFD paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the male victim to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once the next of kin has been notified.
