One Killed, One Injured after Solo-Car Crash on Unser Boulevard [Albuquerque, NM]
Solo-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Tierra Pintada Boulevard Left One Fatality
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (August 3, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, one person died and another was injured in a solo-car crash on Unser Boulevard.
The incident happened on July 29th, at around 3:30 p.m., just north of Interstate 40.
For reasons that are currently unclear, the driver of a vehicle lost control and the vehicle overturned near the intersection of Unser Boulevard and Tierra Pintada Boulevard. The impact of the collision caused two people to sustain serious injuries.
Authorities later reported that one person died and another remains injured as a result of the crash.
At this time, the identity of the deceased victim has not been released to the public.
Following the collision, crews shut down the areas of the road surrounding the fatal collision. Traffic was impacted for several hours while officials performed cleanup and preliminary duties.
Officials have not released any additional information, and further investigation is still underway regarding the solo-car crash on Unser Boulevard.
