Pedestrian-Auto Crash Near Kirkwood Court Resulted in One Death

EAST PALO ALTO, CA (August 1, 2023) – Friday evening, a hit-and-run collision on Kavanaugh Drive claimed the life of a male pedestrian.

The crash happened at around 10:30 p.m. at the 1400 block of Kavanaugh Drive near Kirkwood Court.

At this time, the circumstances that led up to the collision remain unclear. However, police said the incident was being investigated for hit-and-run. 

Furthermore, officials added that the victim “may have been crossing the street” prior to the crash. 

A witness from the scene claimed that the victim was a man in his 20s. According to the police, authorities are still trying to determine the identity of the driver involved. 

The name of the deceased victim is currently undisclosed to the public. East Palo Alto Officials are encouraging anyone with information to leave an anonymous voicemail at (650) 409-6792.
