Driver Killed in Single-Car Crash on West Santa Susana Pass Road

CHATSWORTH, CA (July 26, 2023) – Monday morning, one driver was killed in a car accident on West Santa Susana Pass Road.

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m., at the 22400 block of West Santa Susana Pass Road on July 24th.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle lost control and veered over the side of an embankment. First responders located the driver dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

Following preliminary duties, police believe the vehicle may have been there for multiple days. In addition, officers found a canine near the vehicle and is expected to survive.

At this time, Chatsworth Police are still investigating the fatal accident on West Santa Susana Pass Road and will provide updates as they become available.
