SEATTLE, WA (July 20, 2023) – Sunday evening, a woman sustained injuries following a two-car crash on Alki Avenue Southwest.
The incident occurred just before 6:00 p.m., July 16th, involving two vehicles driven by a man and the other, by a woman.
According to reports, the man and the woman were driving near the 1300 block of Alki Avenue when their cars collided. The impact of the collision pushed the woman’s car into Elliott Bay, she ended up in Puget Sound. The man’s car continued on and slammed into a building.
Following the crash, good samaritans helped pull the woman and her vehicle out of the water before first responders arrived.
When paramedics arrived, they transported both drivers to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
