42-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in DUI Accident near Hacienda Avenue

LAS VEGAS, NV (July 19, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, one woman was killed in a DUI crash and Kellie Hart was arrested.

Dispatchers received calls around 5:45 a.m., near Valley View Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue on July 18th.

Officers say the driver of a 1995 Ford F-150 was heading east on Hacienda, approaching Valley View Boulevard. At the same time, Hart was driving a southbound 2018 Nissan Titan and failed to stop at the red light.

As a result, the Ford and the Nissan collided at the intersection. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the 42-year-old female passenger from inside the Ford dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, crews transported three others to UMC Trauma for further treatment. There, officers determined that 39-year-old Hart was impaired at the time. As a result, officers placed her on arrest until she is discharged.
