Pedestrian Accident on Lennox Boulevard Left One Dead

SAN DIEGO, CA (July 18, 2023) – Early Monday morning, an auto-pedestrian crash on 405 Freeway left one victim fatally injured.

Authorities responded to reports of the collision around 3:45 a.m. along the northbound 405, at Lennox Boulevard near LAX.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a pedestrian who appeared to have been hit multiple times by several vehicles. However, the total number of vehicles involved remains unclear. 

Tragically, the first responders declared the victim dead at the scene. Their identity has not been disclosed to the public, pending notification from their relatives. 

In the end, the CHP issued a SigAlert around 4:14 a.m., cloning down lanes 2 through 5 as crews cleared out the scene.
