Man Killed, Two Others Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 201 [Visalia, CA]
Fatal Motorcycle-SUV Collision near Road 176 Left 9-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized
VISALIA, CA (July 17, 2023) – On Sunday, a motorcycle crash on Highway 201 left a male rider dead and two other people injured.
The fatal collision happened in the area of Highway 201 and Road 176. According to the CHP, a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed approached the slower-moving traffic ahead.
Consequently, the motorcyclist collided with the side of an SUV.
Responding emergency personnel declared the 36-year-old man riding the motorcycle dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported his 9-year-old girl passenger to a hospital for treatment of significant injuries. At this time, the two occupants of the motorcycle have not been identified by the CHP. Although, both parties were determined to be from Dinuba.
Additionally, reports indicate that the SUV was occupied by at least seven people from Dublin, Ohio, with ages ranging from 45 to 6 years old. Officials also hospitalized one passenger from the SUV for unspecified injuries.
Tulare County Officials continue to investigate the Highway 201 motorcycle crash.
