Felipe Uriostegui Dies in Rollover Collision on State Route 97 [Toppenish, WA]
34-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Rollover Accident near Toppenish
TOPPENISH, WA (July 17, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, Felipe Uriostegui was killed in a rollover collision on State Route 97.
Police responded to the scene after 3:00 a.m., about two miles north of Toppenish after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
According to reports, Uriostegui was driving north when he rear-ended another vehicle and lost control. The vehicle then left the roadway and overturned before landing on its wheels.
First responders arrived and pronounced 34-year-old Uriostegui dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the other driver remained uninjured.
Crews also say both involved vehicles were totaled. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
