Two Pedestrians Hurt in Accident near Dunlap Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (July 11, 2023) – Late Friday night, two pedestrians sustained injuries after a hit-and-run incident on Interstate 17.
It happened on June 9th just before 11:30 p.m. near Dunlap Avenue involving two pedestrians.
According to the Phoenix police, they arrived at the scene and found two pedestrians injured on the highway.
Consequently, the officers transported both pedestrians to the hospital who suffered serious injuries, one of them only suffered minor wounds.
Furthermore, the officers are locating the driver of a 2019 or newer gray Chevrolet Blazer SUV, who was suspected to have struck them.
A large portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
