High-Speed Car Crash near Woodland Avenue left 21-Year-Old Man Dead
MODESTO, CA (July 6, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a high-speed car crash on State Route 99 took the life of Ramiro Lopez Trevin.
According to the police, the crash happened around 5:56 a.m. along the northbound SR-99, north of Woodland Avenue.
Investigators claimed that a 2002 Volvo was racing with another vehicle before losing control.
Afterward, the Volvo crossed all the lanes of the freeway and into the right shoulder before colliding head-on with a tree.
Tragically, the first responders declared the Volvo driver dead at the scene. He was later identified as 21-year-old Ramiro Lopez Trevin of Modesto.
No further details regarding the fatal State Route 99 crash have been released to the public. Those who witnessed the incident are asked to contact the CHP Modesto office at 209-545-7440.
