Two-Vehicle Collision in Valle Vista Kills 69-Year-Old Motorcyclist
HEMET, CA (July 3, 2023) – Wednesday evening, a motorcycle-auto collision on Mayberry Avenue claimed the life of Stanley Summers.
The fatal crash happened around 6:20 p.m. at the 43000 block of Mayberry Avenue in the Valle Vista community in Hemet.
According to the report, a westbound white Honda Civic making a left turn on Pleasant Street collided with a motorcycle traveling east on Mayberry.
The impact of the crash ejected the rider from the motorcycle, leaving him with fatal injuries. 69-year-old Stanley Summers was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Honda driver to a hospital to treat minor injuries. Authorities ruled out intoxication to be a factor in the collision.
