Martha Alicia Cervantes Inzunza Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision near 67th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
68-Year-Old Woman Dead and Multiple Others Injured after a Multi-Vehicle Accident on Camelback Road
PHOENIX, AZ (July 3, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a multi-vehicle crash on Camelback Road claimed the life of Martha Alicia Cervantes Inzunza.
The incident occurred on June 3rd, at around 12:45 p.m., near the intersection of 67th Avenue and Camelback Road involving five vehicles.
According to the Phoenix deputies, a vehicle traveling in the northbound lane tried to overtake one vehicle but the driver lost control and collided with two other vehicles. The two vehicles were sent into the southbound lanes and, there, slammed to two other vehicles.
First responders to the site of the collision transported 10 people to a local hospital for treatment of varying injuries.
At the hospital, officials pronounced 68-year-old Martha Alicia Cervantes Inzunza dead due to the extent of her injuries.
