Vehicle Collision Between Agate Road and Telephone Canyon Road Kills 57-Year-Old Hesperia Man
HESPERIA, CA (June 29, 2023) – Monday evening, Steve L McClune died following a two-vehicle collision on Summit Valley Road.
Fire units of the San Bernardino County Fire responded to the crash on May 22nd, at around 6:47 p.m., between Agate Road and Telephone Canyon Road.
Upon arrival, fire officials determined that a silver 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander and a white 2019 Chevy Traverse collided near Bandicoot Trail. Reports said both vehicles received significant damages.
Following the collision, firefighters declared the Mitsubishi driver dead at the scene. Later, the coroner’s office identified the deceased driver as 57-year-old Steve L McClune of Hesperia.
In addition, paramedics rushed two other people to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities have not been publicly disclosed at this time.
Responders from the city of Hesperia Public Works prompted the closure of Summit Valley Road near Bandicoot Trail.
