46-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Deadly Vehicle Collision near 51st Avenue

GLENDALE, AZ (June 29, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, police were dispatched to a pedestrian-vehicle crash that killed Mark Agee.

On June 27th, at around 2:30 a.m., a deadly pedestrian crash was reported at the intersection of 51st and Northern Avenues.

According to the authorities, 46-year-old Agee was crossing mid-block at the intersection when a vehicle headed eastbound struck him.

Furthermore, the authorities said that the driver drove through a green light at that time. He remained at the scene and complied with the investigators.

Unfortunately, first responders were not able to save Agee and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Consequently, authorities said impairment was not a factor in the incident. Meanwhile, the intersection was blocked during the length of the investigation, but it has reopened since.

At this time, there were no other details released and the crash is still under investigation.
