Fifth Avenue Pedestrian Crash Left One Seriously Injured
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 28, 2023) – On Sunday evening, a pedestrian was struck and critically injured in a downtown collision on Fifth Avenue.
The accident occurred around 12:40 a.m., on Fifth Avenue near F Street.
According to the reports, a 27-year-old pedestrian was critically injured after being hit by an SUV in downtown San Diego.
The driver, a 54-year-old man, was heading north when the collision happened. As a result, the pedestrian suffered a life-threatening brain bleed and was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
Furthermore, the police stated that the involved driver remained at the site of the incident and cooperated with the investigators.
